Introduction

The church - St Martin-in-the-Fields is a busy working church with over 20 services and 6-7 concerts per week which you are very welcome to attend.  In addition to our services and concerts, we also welcome visitors to the church who would like some peaceful reflection, to look around or take an audio-guided tour at the following times:

Sunday: 3.30pm-5.00pm
Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 8.30am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-6.00pm
Wednesday: 8.30am-1.15pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm 
Thursday: 8.30am-1.15pm and 2.00pm-6.00pm
Saturday: 9.30am-6.00pm

These hours are subject to change if we have a special service in church. Please see "This week at St Martin's" (link on the right hand side of the page) for further details.

Tours of St Martin's - Uncover the history of the 'church in the fields' and the stories behind the stones.  Audio-tours of the church are available to hire from the Shop downstairs for £3.50.   

Group tours - can be booked in advance through Angela Anderson, angela.anderson@smitf.org for groups up to 25 people and costing £5 per person.  If you are part of a Church Group who would like to speak with a member of the clergy when you visit we will do our best to accommodate your request.  Please note that a reasonable notice period would be very much appreciated.

St Martin's Shop - a treasure trove of gifts, treats and souvenirs to buy, in the Crypt next to the Café.

St Martin's Brass Rubbing Centre - an absorbing and creative way of getting to grips with history and making your own artwork to take home.

Gallery at St Martin's - a beautiful space in one of the ancient stone vaults of the Crypt which has on display a series of art exhibitions

St Martin's Archive - St Martin's can help you delve into your family's past - but only if your family member was baptised in the church from May 1965 or married from December 1979. For further information email info@smitf.org
